Yes — top rack of the dishwasher is fine. You can also hand-wash it with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Let it air dry completely before storing.
Yes. Food-grade silicone is safe for direct contact with food and pet mouths. It doesn't leach chemicals and doesn't absorb odours or bacteria in the way that plastic can.
No. The mat is latex-free and made from silicone only. If your pet has specific sensitivities, we'd recommend checking with your vet before introducing any new enrichment tool.
Never use anything containing xylitol (an artificial sweetener found in some peanut butters), chocolate, grapes, raisins, onion, garlic, or macadamia nuts for dogs. For cats, the list of safe foods is different — if in doubt, check with your vet before introducing a new food.
For dogs: xylitol-free peanut butter, plain yoghurt, wet dog food, mashed banana, pumpkin puree, or bone broth. For cats: wet cat food, plain tuna in springwater, or unsalted chicken broth. Always check the label on any packaged food for xylitol.
The Flower Lick Mat is designed for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. At 15cm × 15cm with a suction-cup base, it suits everything from kittens to large breeds.
Wet the suction cups slightly before pressing firmly onto a smooth, clean surface — tiles, wood floors, or a bathtub wall all work well. It won't grip rough or textured surfaces.
